Mobility & Flexibility You Cannot Reach On Your Own.

BodyFitStretch – Assisted Stretching

BodyFitStretch is BodyFit’s signature one-on-one assisted stretching service — and it is fundamentally different from what you will find at a stretch studio down the street.

Every session is delivered by a licensed healthcare professional and/or certified personal trainer who reviews your full medical and surgical history before your first visit. Other stretch businesses train non-medical staff on abbreviated programs, then hand them clinical-sounding techniques like PNF without the knowledge to apply them safely or effectively. At BodyFit, advanced techniques are used selectively, assessed in real time, and always guided by your history and your body’s response in session.

Serving Canton, Simsbury, Avon, Farmington, West Hartford, and the Farmington Valley — for those who want a smarter, safer approach to assisted stretching.

For Once, Let Someone Else Handle It.

You arrive comfortable, lie down, and breathe. That is genuinely all that is required of you. Your clinician assesses your movement, identifies priority areas, and guides you through a full-body or targeted assisted stretching sequence built entirely around your needs — while your muscles relax, your tissue releases, and your body does what it cannot do when you are the one doing the stretching.

Sessions run 50 to 60 minutes. Most clients describe the experience as somewhere between massage and movement therapy — deeply relaxing, immediately effective, and unlike anything they have been able to achieve on their own.

What BodyFitStretch Produces

Passive assisted stretching consistently achieves what self-stretching cannot – because your clinician can take your tissue further than your protective reflexes allow on your own.

Deeper End-Range Mobility

Your clinician guides your body into end-range positions that self-stretching cannot reach - producing greater flexibility gains in fewer sessions.

Lasting Flexibility Improvements

Unlike a warm-up stretch that disappears after activity, consistent BodyFitStretch sessions produce cumulative mobility improvements that hold between sessions.

Fascial Release & Reduced Tightness

Passive stretching releases fascial restrictions and chronic muscle tightness in layers that active movement and foam rolling cannot access.

Left-Right Balance Restoration

Side-to-side flexibility asymmetries are identified and addressed directly - correcting the imbalances that cause compensatory movement and cumulative injury risk.

What Clients Use
BodyFitStretch For

BodyFitStretch is used for recovery, performance, rehabilitation maintenance, and overall quality of movement – by clients across every activity level.

Post-training or post-competition stretching that accelerates recovery, reduces soreness, and restores full range of motion for the next session.

Hip, thoracic, and shoulder mobility work that directly improves swing mechanics, reduces post-round soreness, and keeps you playing your best golf or tennis.

Maintaining and building on mobility gains achieved during PT/Chiro – so the flexibility work you did in rehab continues to improve rather than regress over time.

For clients who simply want to move better, feel less stiff, and age well – BodyFitStretch is a regular investment in the quality of movement that makes every day better.
