THE GOLF
PHYSICAL

A TPI-based movement assessment that maps your body’s limitations directly to your swing.

The Golf Physical is a comprehensive TPI-based (Titleist Performance Institute) movement assessment that identifies the physical limitations directly impacting your swing mechanics. In one 90-minute session, we screen 16 key movement patterns, map your mobility, stability, and strength against the demands of an efficient golf swing, and produce a clear, prioritized action plan for what to address first — and why.

We take you through TPI’s full 16-movement assessments, evaluating the key mobility, stability, and strength patterns required for an efficient golf swing. Each movement is assessed and scored — pass, partial, or fail — giving us a precise, objective picture of where your body is working for your swing and where it’s working against it.

Every failed or partial screen result is mapped directly to your swing tendencies using TPI’s Body-Swing Connection framework. Physical deficiencies are linked to potential swing characteristics — things like early extension, reverse spine angle, loss of posture, and sway — so you understand not just what your body can’t do, but exactly how it’s showing up in your game.

Once all 16 assessments are complete, the TPI system generates your Golf Fitness Handicap — a numerical score ranging from +7 to 36 that represents how likely your body’s movement limitations are affecting your golf swing. It’s your baseline — a clear, quantified starting point that makes progress measurable and motivating.

Not all limitations are equal. We identify the key element that, when corrected, will yield the biggest positive performance change — then build your plan around it. You leave with a clear, prioritized roadmap that targets your most impactful deficits first, forming the foundation for everything BodyFit does with you next.

THE GOLF FITNESS & POWER SCREEN

Sport-specific performance testing that measures your athletic ceiling — and shows you how to raise it.

The Golf Fitness & Power Screen takes your assessment beyond movement and into athletic performance. Building on the foundation of the Level 1 physical screen, this advanced assessment adds testing for strength, power, speed, and cardiovascular fitness to complete the full picture of your golf-fitness profile. TPI We measure your rotational power, upper and lower body strength, speed capacity, and on-course endurance — then connect every metric directly to your distance, consistency, and ability to perform at your best from the first tee to the final hole. If you want to know exactly what’s limiting your power output and a clear plan to change it, this is where that conversation starts.

Power is the ultimate expression of human performance TPI — and this screen measures yours precisely. We test upper and lower body strength alongside rotational power output to identify whether your limitations are rooted in a strength deficit, a speed deficit, or both. Pinpointing the source of the problem is what dictates the direction of your programming TPI and ensures every training session is working toward the right goal.

Speed is a skill — just like putting or wedge play. TPI This portion of the screen evaluates your body’s ability to generate and express speed efficiently, giving us a clear picture of your clubhead speed potential and where untapped yards are being left on the table. The findings directly inform how we sequence your training to develop rate of force development and maximize distance.

Golf demands more physical endurance than most players realize. This component assesses your cardiovascular fitness capacity and how well your body sustains performance across a full round. Fatigue in the back nine affects decision-making, swing mechanics, and consistency — and we test for it directly so your training plan accounts for the full demands of the game.

After proper assessment, effective training programs are developed to support the findings — first through the base foundation of mobility and stability, then through proper strength and power progressions. You leave with a complete golf-fitness profile and a prioritized plan that sequences your training intelligently, so you’re building the right qualities in the right order — and seeing results on the course.

GOLF FITNESS &
PERSONAL TRAINING

Private strength and conditioning built specifically for the physical demands of golf.

Golf is an athletic endeavor — and training like an athlete changes what’s possible on the course. BodyFit’s Golf Fitness & Personal Training program is one-on-one strength and conditioning built directly from your screen results, your swing demands, and your performance goals. Effective programming starts with assessment — and from there, we build first through the base foundation of mobility and stability, then through proper strength and power progressions — so every session has a purpose and every phase earns the next. Delivered in our Rogue-equipped boutique studio by licensed clinicians who understand golf biomechanics, this isn’t a generic gym program. It’s a performance plan built for your body, your swing, and your game.

Before you can build power, your body needs to move well. We first determine whether your limitations stem from mobility or stability deficits TPI — then apply targeted corrective exercise to restore the movement patterns your swing demands. This phase addresses the specific faults identified in your screen: restoring rotation, improving hip and thoracic mobility, activating underperforming muscle groups, and building the motor control that makes lasting change possible.

Soft tissue work, stretching, and corrective exercise all have their place — but they must be accompanied by progressive strength training for long-term improvements in both golf performance and everyday function. Your strength program is built around the demands of the golf swing: hip hinge patterns, rotational loading, single-leg stability, and the ability to transfer force efficiently from the ground up through the kinetic chain — the foundation of a powerful, repeatable swing.

Power is the ultimate expression of human performance — and once your movement foundation and strength base are in place, we train it directly. Using medicine ball work, rotational loading, ground reaction force drills, and swing speed sequencing, we develop your ability to generate and express clubhead speed. Months of work in the gym mean nothing if it doesn’t transfer to your swing — so every power training phase is designed with on-course application in mind.

Our signature BodyFitStretch assisted stretching service is integrated directly into your training program — not as an afterthought, but as a structured component of your recovery and mobility progression. Delivered one-on-one by a trained clinician, each session targets the specific rotational centers — hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders — that your screen identified as limiting factors, helping you maintain and advance the mobility gains earned in training.

GOLF MOBILITY
– THE BODYFITSTRETCH

Signature assisted stretching to unlock the range of motion your swing demands.

Restricted mobility is one of the most overlooked performance limiters in golf — and one of the most fixable. The two areas that most commonly affect golfers are poor thoracic mobility and poor hip mobility, both of which are necessary to create a consistent and powerful motion in the golf swing. When those limitations go unaddressed, the body compensates — and compensation shows up in your swing, your scores, and over time, in pain and injury. BodyFit’s Golf Mobility program combines targeted mobility programming with our signature BodyFitStretch assisted stretching service: a fully passive, clinician-led session where your provider moves your body through carefully guided ranges of motion while you breathe and relax — achieving deeper tissue release than any self-stretching routine can produce. The result is measurable, lasting improvement in the specific mobility your swing demands.

The hips are one of the most critical — and most commonly restricted — rotational centers in golf. Golfers with decreased hip rotation are more likely to experience lower back pain, as the lumbar spine compensates to make up for the rotation the hips can’t provide. Our assisted stretching and mobility work targets internal and external hip rotation directly, restoring the range of motion needed to load the backswing and clear powerfully through impact — without the compensations that cost you distance and put your lower back at risk.

Poor thoracic range of motion hinders your ability to rotate your spine through the backswing — and when the T-spine can’t rotate, the lower back will compensate, increasing injury risk and reducing swing efficiency. BodyFitStretch targets thoracic extension and rotation with passive, clinician-guided techniques that address both joint mobility and tissue restriction, restoring the shoulder turn your swing needs without forcing your body into positions it can’t yet access on its own.

Those with poor thoracic spine mobility or hip internal rotation will compensate in the backswing — and the shoulder often takes the brunt of those forces, increasing risk of rotator cuff and labral injury. Our mobility work addresses external rotation range, scapular positioning, and the balance between shoulder mobility and stability — the combination that allows you to set the club correctly at the top of the backswing and maintain posture through the entire swing.

Every BodyFitStretch Golf Mobility session is driven by your TPI screen results — not guesswork. The specific movement patterns you failed or partially passed become the roadmap for your mobility programming, so we know exactly which restrictions to address, in what order, and how to measure improvement over time. As your mobility improves, we retest against your screen benchmarks — giving you a clear, objective record of how your body is changing and how that change is showing up in your game.
