BodyFit Physical Therapy FAQs

1. What makes BodyFit different from other PT or fitness places?

We're not a mill, a gym floor circus, or a place where you get passed off to an aide. At BodyFit, you get one full hour, one-on-one, with a licensed physical therapist, chiropractor, or personal trainer who knows your sport, your goals, and your lifestyle. We treat what hurts now and build a long-term plan that keeps you performing-not just surviving.

2. Do I have to be injured to come to BodyFit?

Nope. Plenty of people come to get stronger, move better, golf longer, run faster, lift smarter, or finally fix the nagging stuff they've ignored since 2012. We work with active adults and athletes who want to stay ahead of injuries-not wait for them to take over.

3. What services do you offer?

Quite a few-and they actually work together: Physical Therapy & Chiropractic Care, Assisted Stretching, One-on-One Personal Training, Golf Performance (TPI-based), Running Performance & Rehab, Functional Nutrition Coaching, Balance & Agility Training. Think of us as your high-performance team under one roof.

4. How do I get started?

Easy. You book a No-Sweat Intro-a quick, pressure-free conversation about your goals. From there, we outline your plan, schedule your first session, and get you moving in the right direction. Most people leave that first visit thinking, "Why didn't I do this sooner?"

5. What can I expect at my first session?

You'll spend a full hour with your provider-no rushing, no handoffs. We'll assess how you move, what hurts, and what your goals are. Then we get to work right away with hands-on treatment, corrective exercise, and a clear plan so you leave knowing exactly what comes next.

6. Can you help me get stronger even if I'm not an athlete?

Yes. Athletes love us, but plenty of clients simply want to feel good, move confidently, pick up their kids without wincing, or age without feeling fragile. Strength is for everyone-and we build it around your lifestyle.

7. What kinds of tools and equipment do you use?

Only the good stuff. We've got Rogue racks, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, a cable column, punching bag, treadmill, Rogue Echo Bike, SmartCuffs BFR, Normatec boots, and the InBody 380 for body composition testing. Translation: we're built for real rehab, real strength, and real performance.

8.How often do people usually come in?

It depends on your goals. Injuries often start with 1-2 visits a week, then taper as you improve. Training clients usually come 1-3 times weekly to stay consistent and keep momentum. Either way, we'll map out exactly what frequency gets you the fastest, smartest results-without wasting your time.

9. Do you work with golfers, runners, and other sport-specific needs?

Yes-we're built for that. Golfers get TPI-based testing and mobility/strength programming. Runners get gait analysis, performance coaching, and running-specific rehab. Pickleball, tennis, cycling, CrossFit-you name it, we tailor your care to the demands of your sport so you can perform at a higher level with fewer setbacks.

10. What if I've tried PT, chiro, or training before and didn't get results?

That's exactly why people end up here. Because we treat the whole body-not just the obvious problem-and we give you the dedicated time needed to actually fix things. Clients usually say, "I've never had an appointment like this before," because our approach is deeper, more comprehensive, and built around your goals, not a quick checklist.
